Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest,
Carol's Cows have plentiful grass to eat most of the year. The winters are mild, but wet. I rotate the pastures and maintain clean mudless paddock areas for winter use. The animals are as healthy and contented as possible. I strive to produce compact, efficient grazers suitable for the growing grassfed beef market. Here is an interesting article on grassfed genetics. ![]() Within my herd I have American National Champion bloodlines and decendants of the finest Australian foundation bulls. I have selected my females for grassfed efficiency and excellent maternal traits. I select my Lowlines for disposition and ease of handling in addition to conformation and thriftiness. My cattle not only need to gain weight and build ribeye easily on pasture, but they must do it with a good attitude! I offer high quality seedstock suitable for the person with smaller acreage and not a lot of fancy equipment, as well as the large operator. Disposition is important.
Mature faster. Higher feed efficiency on average. Have over 20 years of documented selective breeding and research by the Australian Agriculture Dept. Hardy and Docile. Fun for a family project. For beef or 4H or both! Good investment. A good choice for the Future. ![]() Would you like real beef like this in your pasture? Champion bloodlines! Gentle, docile dispositions! Healthy and happy! Check my sale page. Thank you to all the wonderful people who have bought stock from me in the past. And thank you for the delightful conversations I have had with the many folks who were curious to learn about Lowlines, but not yet ready to own. May your grass always be green and your cows fat and happy! Go to the ALR web-site for more Lowline news. |
